TAL WALKER
Tal Walker is an imaginative and passionate Israeli/Belgian pianist. Having studied in Paris for five years, he is specialized in the French repertoire. Next to the colorful music of 20th century French composers, Tal has displayed a remarkable mastery and creative artistry in his performances of the concertos of Mozart and Schumann for piano and orchestra. Tal Walker is the bronze medal winner at the 18th Osaka International Music Competition in Japan. He has been selected as an artist in residency at the prestigious Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity (Canada) and Villa Lena in Tuscany (Italy). Tal Walker has performed on various international stages in Belgium, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, the Netherlands and more, including “Salle Cortot” in Paris and the Royal Flemish Opera in Antwerp. Tal Walker is the founder and artistic director of the Belgian concert series Monsieur Croche and was recently awarded the RCM Bursary for his D.Mus studies at the Royal College of Music in London.
